Our firm was commissioned to provide project management consultancy services for the refurbishment of student accommodation of 371 flats in Sheffield. The role included design services, project procurement and on-site quality and cost monitoring. The final project construction value was £1.2 million. Due to this being over the busy summer period we employed Jonathan to undertake the role of the on-site quality monitoring of the contractor’s work. As with previous appointments for us on various commissions Jonathan provided a first-rate service. He quickly formed great working relationships with the contractor and operatives as well as the university staff who manage the site. Jonathan worked to the timescales we agreed and undertook all his work in a professional manner, keeping detailed records of all the works inspected and the defects recorded.
