​​​​​​Really pleased I opted for a level 2 survey. It was really thorough with all windows and doors being checked. Lots of clearly labelled photos of the property which can be used to negotiate with the seller and to show to any workers employed to carry out the work needed. One person told me they would not bother with a survey because the house is only 25 years old. I'm so glad I did! Before the visit I asked Jonathan to look at specific things for me which I had seen when I viewed the property. I also asked him for advice around renovating the garage. We were extremely happy with the service that Jonathon provided. He was able to carry out our Level 2 Survey promptly making the arrangements with the Estate Agents himself. With in a week we received our report by email. I had looked at the demo surveys reports displayed by other companies, but the report Jonathon provided was more detailed, using plenty of photographs to display issues and points, a totally comprehensive survey. Our firm was commissioned to provide project management consultancy services for the refurbishment of student accommodation of 371 flats in Sheffield. The role included design services, project procurement and on-site quality and cost monitoring. The final project construction value was £1.2 million. Due to this being over the busy summer period we employed Jonathan to undertake the role of the on-site quality monitoring of the contractor’s work. As with previous appointments for us on various commissions Jonathan provided a first-rate service. He quickly formed great working relationships with the contractor and operatives as well as the university staff who manage the site. Jonathan worked to the timescales we agreed and undertook all his work in a professional manner, keeping detailed records of all the works inspected and the defects recorded. We have no hesitation in recommending Jonathan's services for anyone looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor.
